Napoli Finally SECURES HIGUAIN FOR TOTAL €42. (Read News Here)

The Serie A runners-up look to have won the race for the Argentine's signature after Arsenal failed to agree a transfer fee with Real Madrid

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is poised to join Napoli after agreeing a mammoth contract with Rafa Benitez's side.

The Serie A runners-up had already settled a €37 million fee with Madrid for the transfer of the Argentine, but image rights threatened to derail negotiations over personal terms.

But those issues were resolved during negotiations on Tuesday and Higuain will now pen a five-year, €163,000-per-week contract worth €42.3m in salary alone.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti had previously insisted the striker would not be leaving the club, but has left the player out of the squad for Wednesday's friendly with Olympique Lyonnais as a move to Italy gathers pace.

Napoli's transfer business has been funded by the €63m sale of Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint-Germain, and they have already closed two deals with Madrid this summer alone.

Defender Raul Albiol and attacker Jose Maria Callejon have already left Santiago Bernabeu for the San Paolo, while Dries Mertens, Pablo Armero and Rafael, among others, have also joined as Benitez looks to compensate for the loss of the Uruguay hitman.

Arsenal had been confident of wrapping up a deal for Higuain in June, having negotiated a contract worth €116,000-per-week with the 25-year-old.

But the Gunners' attempts to finalise a deal with Madrid hit the buffers after the Liga runners-up resisted an improved €26.8m offer.

Arsene Wenger has since turned his attentions to Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, with the Londoners submitting a third offer of £35m plus £7m in add-ons on Tuesday.

Wenger recently claimed that the club could afford to pay Wayne Rooney's wages should the striker leave Manchester United, but a move for Suarez has become the Frenchman's priority.

Guess Benitez is Trying to Build a very Strong squad this coming season i see.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! CAVANI Finally Signs For PSG... (Read)

The Uruguayan has completed his move to the Parc des Princes from Napoli on a five-year deal for an estimated €63 million fee

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the €63 million signing of striker Edinson Cavani from Napoli on a five-year deal.

The Uruguay international has long been linked with an exit from Stadio San Paolo, with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City all previously linked with his signature.

However, PSG had leaped to the front of the queue over the past few weeks and the Ligue 1 champions have now announced the successful capture of the 26-year-old.

"I am very happy to announce the arrival of Cavani for five years," club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told reporters.

"It was not easy. Everyone wanted Cavani but he is here at PSG and I'm very happy about that."

Cavani added: "I am very happy to be a part of this project and to be here and I have to thank everyone who worked on this - my agents, Leonardo, everyone who mmade this transfer possible.

"I come with a lot of confidence and a lot of desire to do well. It's a very motivating, ambitious project. I'm a player who always wants to win. It's one of the top clubs in the world."

Cavani moved to Napoli from Palermo back in 2010 and developed into a key player with the club, helping them to the 2012 Coppa Italia and a second-placed finish in Serie A last term.

He began his professional career with Danubio in 2005 and first moved to Europe two yers later.

Cavani Was Given the Number 9 shirt.Hope he and Ibra Gets to Partner well.

Good luck to Him.

Reason's why Luis Suarez Would Leave LFC

Luis Suarez insists he is ready for a "change of environment" as doubts over his future at Liverpool remain.

Photos

Been the Only Player in the Premier league to receive the highest match Ban should be a Strong enough reason for the Hit man to leave.

Suarez has been linked with a move to Real Madrid
Suarez, 26, has attracted interest from Real Madrid, with the striker claiming on Wednesday that he is ready to quit English football due to the criticism he has faced from sections of the media.

Although the Uruguay international has oft reassured Liverpool of his commitment to the club, Suarez admits this summer would be the best time for him to move overseas.
"I do not know when I'm going and I do not know if I'm staying," Suarez said at a press conference ahead of Uruguay's friendly against France. "Obviously the club want me to stay, but I've talked to the coach (Brendan Rodgers) and he knows what I want.
"He was a player and my team-mates understand that my situation is difficult. It's a good moment for a change of environment because of all I've been through in England, where I haven't been judged as a player but based on other things.
"I have only words of thanks to the club, the fans of Liverpool, but the treatment I received from the rest of England in recent weeks has been tough. It (Liverpool) is a spectacular club, but they are aware of the way that the press treats me."
In an interview with Uruguayan radio station Sport 890 on Wednesday, Suarez suggested a move to Real Madrid could help save his public image, although there have been no talks with the Spanish giants.
"My family, my image - that's what matters to me most," he said. "The coach and some colleagues know that I suffered, I was treated badly and I did not feel comfortable and they know perfectly.
"It's nothing against Liverpool, on the contrary, I feel very comfortable at the club, but I have a daughter and I do not want to hear bad things about her father. In England they talk about many things and in some ways I feel uncomfortable.
"If I stay it is because it is a great club but also in turn I know that it is difficult because of the harassment I get from the press."
Suarez added: "England and Spain are the best leagues in the world. It is normal that it is impossible to say no to big teams for which one always dreams. Yet I have nothing, I have not spoken with Real Madrid nor with Liverpool.
"My agent has not told me anything either and that leaves me alone, but they (the media) are speculating. Every time you do something is becomes big. I just said I'm very happy at Liverpool and I'll be forever grateful to this great city and this club made me grow so much, where I still have a contract."

Real madrid in £40m Suarez hunt(but Reds vow to keep him)

LIVERPOOL are determined to fight off a £40million bid for Luis Suarez from Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants have contacted the striker’s agent Pere Guardiola, brother of new Bayern Munich boss Pep.
Suarez tops Real’s shortlist of strikers because he is cheaper than Napoli star Edinson Cavani, who has a £52m get-out clause.

But a senior Liverpool source said: “We will not sell Luis Suarez.
“Brendan Rodgers has said this on several occasions and the club will not entertain any bids be it Real Madrid or anyone else.

“Luis is one of the world’s best players and is not for sale.”
Despite that, Suarez, 26, could be tempted by the lure of Champions League football.
Real will table a bid once new manager Carlo Ancelotti severs his links with current club Paris Saint-Germain and takes charge at the Bernabeu.

In my opinion i feel he is Going Nowhere for now.
